Kat's Kitchen is the obvious choice for outside catering in and around Mansfield. If you are currently making plans to host a small to medium sized weekend get-together, you’ll no doubt be eager to make a good impression on your guests, be they family members, friends or business colleagues. Kat’s Kitchen specialises in a buffet style or separate 'centre table' platter service suitable for smaller, more intimate gatherings (up to 25 persons*) and it’s delivered straight from the heart of someone who’s really passionate about the business.

“To be honest, I guess passionate’s not too strong a word,” says Kat. “I’ve always been enamoured with the idea of putting on a really special choice of food when I’m entertaining. I derive a great deal of pleasure just by seeing my guests’ faces light up when each dish is brought in. The kick I get from that had a lot to do with my decision to set up in business.”

When it comes to putting on a varied and succulent buffet, Kat really knows what she’s talking about. Even when she was very small she couldn’t wait to roll her sleeves up in the kitchen and help her mother prepare the family’s meals. It was no surprise, then, that she would eventually go on to working in a number of busy family restaurants, learning the ins and outs of the catering business, all the while scribbling down recipe after recipe for future inspiration.

Kat can give your event its own theme, if you wish, whether it’s a birthday party, small wedding reception or a christening. With themed menus and platters, you can be sure that your party will be truly memorable. If you wish, you can decide on everything at a one-to-one planning session with Kat, and you can rely on her to deliver that extra special touch to the occasion with her bespoke food platters, each main dish being home-made from scratch – no supermarket short-cuts!

Kat will bring the food to your home or other venue, take care of all the setting up and adornment, supplying cutlery and crockery if required, then return the next morning to collect any Kat's Kitchen property.

“I really do try to ensure that nothing is overlooked,” says Kat. “I believe it’s that attention to detail, allied with dedication and expertise, that gives any occasion that extra sparkle, and I’m proud that I’m able to deliver what I consider to be a superlative service at a reasonable price.”

Remember, the choice is yours whether you would prefer the food served in a buffet style or as separate platters, with your own theme if you like, plus FREE delivery to locations within a 5-mile radius of Mansfield (£1 per additional mile thereafter up to a limit of 25 miles).

Kat organised a 'Shu Luv' party whilst simultaneously launching 'Kat's Kitchen'. For the first time at one of my shoe parties, I felt I had serious competition for the guests' attention... as there was a feast of fine foods and platters on offer! Not only did the smell of the foods entice you to the kitchen, once there, the presentation was so attractive, it reminded me of something you would see in a food magazine, where all the fine details had been thought of and care had been taken over the whole table working together. I discovered Kat's Kitchen Platters at a small private party. Not only was the food a delight to the taste buds but also the eyes.
